While my peers were dating, courting and marrying, I was struggling with my sexuality. I began my gay adolescence at 35, dated, courted, and now have a kind, loving and wonderful helpmate, companion and partner. We have been together for over 21 years. We own a house in the woods. We pay taxes. We recently lost our 15 year-old Victorian Black Lab with recessive genes whom we loved dearly. We own an RV and like to travel. We are sometimes apprehensive about the future. "
