Wednesday Words

I already posted once about this Republi-nitwit, Michael Steele; about how he can talk out of his head and ass at the same time. Well, now he's just talking out of one orifice, and saying some really, well, dumb, things:

And first off the government doesn’t create jobs. Let’s get this notion out of our heads that the government creates jobs. Not in the history of mankind has the government ever created a job. Small business owners do, small enterprises do. Not the government. When the government contract runs out, that job goes away. That’s what we’re talking about here and those 2 to 4 million jobs that are projected? Won’t happen, trust me.

Government not only does NOT create job, it has NEVER created jobs.
As Lt. Governor of Maryland, he held a job created by the government. All of our soldiers are in jobs created by the government.
Of course, then Steele backtracks some, and said, on NPR, that the stimulus package will create several hundred thousand jobs at best, although many disagree with his lowball numbers.
But which is it, Mike? No jobs? Hundreds of thousands of jobs?
Me thinks Mr. Steele is the new Sarah Palin.
Open his mouth and stupid falls out.

So, here in the Great State of Redneck-Bible-Thumping-Beer-Swilling-Gun-Toting-Toothless-Illiterates........or, as it is also known, South Carolina, , the Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott and his department of Good Ol' Boys, is looking into pressing charges against Michael Phelps for that glass bong photo.
Now, we are all 99.9% sure it was pot in the bong, but no one knows that for 100%; which means it could have been legal tobacco--because the Great State of Redneck-Bible-Thumping-Beer-Swilling-Gun-Toting-Toothless-Illiterates is tobacco country.
But when you have athletes like Brazilian soccer star Robinho arrested for sexual assault, and Syracuse University athlete Eric Devendorf arrested for assault, let's focus on the guy who held a glass bong up to his lips and inhaled.
Or did he?

Cheers to CBS for proving the sanctity of marriage once and for all.
Apparently, in a desperate bid to sink to the lowest level possible, The Eye Network is creating a reality series about arranged marriages.
It's about four adults, eager for marriage, but not so good at picking their mates--so they let CBS do it? Oh no; their friends and family select a spouse for them, and the newly paired couples exchange marital vows. The series follows their marriages to the natural conclusion of spousal abuse and divorce because these people are only getting married so they can be on TV and show all the world what fools look like.
The gays can't get married because marriage is a sacred institution between one man, one woman, and a TV network.
Yeah, I get it now.
Maybe I could get LOGO to marry me and Carlos.

Benny's at it again.
First, his Assholiness....is that rude....I think not.....welcomes back into the flock the Holocaust denier, who says no Jews died in gas chambers in WWII; and really only 300,000 died anyway, so what's the big deal?
Now Benny wants to promote a pastor who said that Hurricane Katrina was God's punishment for homosexuality in New Orleans. This idiot, er, pastor, this 'man of god,' Gerhard Wagner said in 2005 that the death and destruction caused by Katrina was "divine retribution" for New Orleans' permissive sexual attitudes and tolerance of homosexuality.
So, we're back to God Hates Fags, but he takes it out on the poor, and the Black, and the elderly in New Orleans. God Hates Fags so much so that he ruined an entire city because of it.
God?
Hate?
Pastor, you need to reread your Bible.
God is love, fool.

I enjoy reading your blog, but I do have to say that I grew up in Columbia, SC and we're not all "Redneck-Bible-Thumping-Beer-Swilling-Gun-Toting-Toothless-Illiterates........or, as it is also known, South Carolina, ," I'm sure that some of the other places you have lived, even California, has their "rednecks.".

Does anyone else see how evil the current Pope looks in that picture. I mean, he actually looks physically evil in the face.

  6. Hey Calvin,
Thanks for reading the blog. I appreciate it.
    And thanks for commenting, too.

And I don't mean that all South Carolinians are "Redneck-Bible-Thumping-Beer-Swilling-Gun-Toting-Toothless-Illiterates" but a good many are; I just think those are the ones that get the attention down here.

And California has their rednecks, although we called them idiots there.

And Miami had rednecks, too. I forget what we called them; I beleive it was in Spanish.

So the rednecks are everywhere. I just wish people who had rational thought in their heads would speak up more, and those who don't might be drowned out.
